MAUI, Hawaii -- Carlos Santana is a married man, once again.

The rock icon tied the knot with drummer Cindy Blackman on December 19 in Hawaii, a rep for the musician confirmed to Access Hollywood.

The couple wed in a private ceremony held at The Ritz Carlton in Maui. Among the approximately 180 guests in attendance were comedian & Carlos’ close friend George Lopez, as well as fellow musicians Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter and members of Santana.

The newlyweds released a crate of white doves during the nuptials to help commemorate the occasion.

Cindy – who is most commonly recognized for her work playing with Lenny Kravitz — chose a custom-made silk dress from the Zurich boutique Zoro for the big day, according to People.

“Cindy is a match with everything that I am, from fire of passion to vulnerability,” Carlos told the magazine. “Everything tastes better when you share it with your soul mate.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Carlos, 63, popped the question to Cindy, 51, during a Santana concert in Chicago in July. The guitar god got down on one knee four songs into the concert following a drum solo by Cindy and proposed in front of a packed house.

This is the second marriage for Carlos, who split from his first wife, Deborah, in 2007 after 34 years of marriage.
