LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans
“Arrested Development” Movie Is On: The devoted fans of “Arrested Development” have been crossing their fingers that the entire cast will get on board for the film, and Jeffrey Tambor says reported holdout Michael Cera is going to reprise his George Michael Bluth role. “If I have to call him up and say, ‘Get on set right now, young man,’ he’ll be there,” the actor told The New York Daily News at a recent Upright Citizens Brigade LA performance. “The movie is going to happen this year, and Michael Cera is on board. Trust me.” Good news indeed!
Evan Rachel Wood Says Showmance With Mickey Is Icky: And for news about something that is so not on, actress Evan Rachel Wood has squashed reports that she is involved with her “Wrestler” co-star Mickey Rourke. “I’m not attracted to him, he’s too old for me,” she told RollingStone.com. “Nothing ever happened and nothing ever will.” Thanks for clearing the romance part up Evan Rachel, but did you have play the old man card too?
Lily Allen’s New Holy Habit?: Spunky British singer Lily Allen is looking for a new relationship – a sacred one. “I could become a nun,” she joked to Spin Magazine. “I wouldn’t do it for Jesus, I would do it to see tabloid gossip people have zero to write about. ‘She prays all f****** day — what are we going to do now?’” Maybe fellow Brit bad girl Amy Winehouse will join the convent too? The choir would sure rock.
“Mom Jeans” & The Stars Who Love Them!: And finally in some unholy fashion trends news, Jessica Simpson’s recent “mom jeans” scandal isn’t the first time a Hollywood star has sported pants that ride up a bit.
