Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

Angelina On The Obama/McCain Fence: Angelina Jolie still hasn’t decided who she’ll cast a ballot for in November. Both Obama’s and McCain’s camps have reached out to the actress and humanitarian in hopes of landing her endorsement. “I have not decided on a candidate,” Jolie said in a statement to Variety’s Wilshire & Washington column, provided by political adviser Trevor Neilson. “I am waiting to see the commitments they will make on issues like international justice, refugees and how to address the needs of children in crisis around the world.”

Matt Damon Wants You To Travel: Matt Damon thinks more Americans need get out of the country more often. “I think many of our problems as a country would be solved if people had thick passports,” the actor told Conde Nast Traveler’s September issue. “There’s just no substitute for actually going and seeing things.” Easy for the star of the “Bourne” trilogy, known for its globetrotting, to say.

Lauren & Her “Boy”: “Hills” star Lauren Conrad was spotted sharing a few cozy moments with “My Boys” star Kyle Howard at Teddy’s, inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel over the weekend, People reported. The couple was inseparable and smooching throughout the night, the mag reported. Lauren reportedly took her BlackBerry out just once the whole night, — quite the sign of true love in Hollywood.

A-Rod Donates Big To Madonna’s Charity: He might have denied all reports of an affair with Madonna, but Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez is stepping up to the plate for the pop star’s charity, Raising Malawi, donating a half a million dollars, the New York Daily News’ Rush & Molloy reported. “They’ve asked him for a million dollars, and I hear he’s agreed to give at least $500,000,” a source told the paper. Who said nothing good ever comes from rumors and gossip!
