Miley Went Dark After Split With Nick Jonas: Break ups are hard, but if you’re Miley Cyrus and you break up with Nick Jonas, it’s extra hard on your hair. “At first I bawled for a month straight. I was so sad. I just went into this weird funk. And I dyed my hair black,” Miley told Seventeen Magazine in their September issue. “When we were dating, Nick wanted me to get highlights – and so I did that, and I got myself looking great. And then, on the day we broke up, I was like, ‘I want to make my hair black now – I don’t want to look pretty; I want to look hard-core’. I was rebelling against everything Nick wanted me to be. And then I was like, ‘I’ve got to be by myself for now, and just figure out who I really am.’” Nothing like a little goth to heal a broken heart!
Brad Takes Maddox For A Spin: To celebrate his seventh birthday, Brad Pitt took Maddox go-carting n the South of France. “It was just Maddox and Brad,” a source told People. “Just father-son time.” Though Brad has been behind the wheel a lot longer than his son, Maddox reportedly beat Brad to the finish line.
Paris’ White House Has A Doggie Door: After the success of Paris Hilton’s FunnyOrDie.com video, where she responded to John McCain’s campaign ad, the question on everyone’s lips is ‘Will Paris ever run for office?’ “Only if I can bring [my dog] Tinkerbell to the White House,” she joked to People. We pity the secret service agent who would have to clean up after Tink.
Tim Burton & Helena Bonham Carter Announce Baby Name: Director Tim Burton and actress Helena Bonham Carter revealed the name of their new baby – Nell -- People reported. The actress said they chose the name to honor “all the Helens in the family.” Helena’s mother is named Elena her grandmother is Helene. Plus, not every kid is named after a Jodie Foster film!
