LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans
Aca-More!: Last year’s surprise hit “Pitch Perfect” with Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson as members of a college a cappella singing group is returning for more, Slash Film reported. It is not known which of the stars might return, but screenwriter Kay Cannon has reportedly been hired to pen the sequel. We hope Fat Amy (play by Rebel) is back for more singing, epic one-liners and flying-burrito dodging!
Macklemore Drops New Video: Combine Macklemore, Ryan Lewis plus dog sleds, camels, pirate ships, kangaroos and a fox pelt and you have the video for the duo’s latest single, “Can’t Hold Us Down,” which they performed last weekend on The MTV Movie Awards. Enjoy!
Blake’s Hair History: Blake Shelton might be super cool now that he’s on NBC’s “The Voice,” but Buzzfeed has a look back at a part of his life he might want to forget… ready for a curly mullet photo montage?
“Parks & Rec” Nerds Out With Patton Oswalt’s “Star Wars” Moment: If J.J. Abrams has any problems with ideas for the upcoming “Stars Wars” movie, he might want to hire Patton Oswalt as a consultant. During Thursday’s episode of “Parks and Recreation,” the actor plays a Pawnee citizen who attempts to filibuster a city council vote. Producers asked him to improve his speech on an idea for the seventh “Star Wars” film (which lasts nine minutes and was done in one take) will delight sci-fi nerds everywhere! See his Focre-filled nerdgasm!
