Hermione Twitters Yale Acceptance: Forget calling your fellow “Potter” co-stars to tell them the good news on the phone, Emma Watson announced that she had been accepted to the prestigious Yale University, via her Twitter account. “Did I tell you I got accepted to Yale,” she wrote. No word if she’ll be enrolling in Wizard or Muggle classes.

Mekhi Phifer On Chris Brown: “People Make Mistakes” — Chris Brown’s friend and former “This Christmas” co-star Mekhi Phifer came to the scandal-embroiled singer’s defense. “People make mistakes—and while I don’t condone what happened that night, you know, what Chris did to her—I remember being young, 19, and at that age it seemed like everything was so over-the-top, and everyone’s so passionate about things at the age,” Mekhi told E! over the weekend at the World Poker Tournament Invitational at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles.
