LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

Taylor Swift Elated For Kidman & Urban: Country cutie Taylor Swift is so happy for the birth of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s baby that she could cry. “Even just thinking about it now, I’m tearing up because I’m so happy for them,” she wrote on her MySpace blog following the birth of her close friend’s baby. “When my mom and I got the news, we just sat there in the hotel room and got so emotional.”

James McAvoy’s “Die Hard” Love: “Wanted” star James McAvoy appears to be a fan of Bruce Willis’ work. When asked by Details magazine why he took the role opposite Angelina Jolie in his latest summer blockbuster, he said, “I think inside all actors there’s a kid who secretly yearns to jump off buildings and say, ‘Yippeekayay, motherf----r!””

Lindsay And Her DJ’s DVD Night: Lindsay Lohan and “are-they-or-aren’t-they-a- couple?” constant gal pal Samantha Ronson were spotted at a Blockbuster in Hollywood, browsing for DVDs, People reports. The duo was reportedly cracking up while they pursued the aisles. No word if they had just come across Lindsay’s unintentional-camp classic, “I Know Who Killed Me.”

“Hit” TV Show’s Big Gay Twist?: Entertainment Weekly’s new TV Guru, Michael Ausiello, is reporting a major twist is in the works for an “sorta-hit” TV show. “Reliable sources close to a sorta-hit series that I adore tell me that the show’s writers have concocted a humdinger of a curveball for the upcoming season that is so twisty it will take the program in a completely new direction — and an inspired (not to mention timely) direction, at that!” he writes. “The twist in question is a little gay. No, make that a lot gay.” There’s no word on what show is planning the twist, but speculation is running rampant on EW’s website. Check it out HERE!
