NEW YORK, New York --

It’s been almost a year since Rosie O’Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck had their notorious spat, that led to Rosie leaving “The View” — and Rosie is still talking about it.

The former talk show host and current celeb-blogger opened up to Martha Stewart on her morning television show about the reasons for her departure from the morning gab fest.

“I tried my best but it’s hard for me when I’m not the boss,” Rosie told Martha. “There was [sic] people there telling me what to do. There was a little Republican who scared me.”

Rosie was replaced by Whoopi Goldberg as the lead host on ‘The View.”
