Rosie O'Donnell Returns To 'The View' For First Time Since 2007
Rosie O’Donnell was back on “The View” on Friday for the first time since 2007, where she weighed in a slew of Hot Topics.
Here’s some of what Ro – who joked, “It’s my first time back, I’m afraid I’ll be exiled!” – said during her return to the daytime chat fest.
On Justin Bieber: “Poor baby. Here’s the thing: Fame is a tidal wave. It sweeps you away… I threw eggs at houses every Halloween of my life. Do I think he needs parental supervision in a way that he’s not getting? I certainly do. But do I think he should be deported? No way, Jose.”
On Dylan & Mia Farrow’s Woody Allen Abuse Allegations: “I firmly believe Dylan, and I believe Mia… You can never really know what goes on in a house.”
On The Death Of Philip Seymour Hoffman & Addiction: “It is a disease [Rosie then referred to a recent piece that Russell Brand penned on addiction], [if you read his piece] you’ll understand just how crippling this disease is and it’s about time we stop shaming addicts and that we understand it’s a disease. The same way we’d never yell at anyone ‘Oh my God! You have cancer. I cannot believe you, you’re so morally corrupt.’ We shouldn’t do that to drug addicts. I understand it’s a hard concept for people who don’t have any addictive natures.
