LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Rosie O’Donnell has revealed partner Kelli Carpenter moved out of their home together in 2007.
“Kelli moved out two years ago,” Rosie said on her new Sirius Satellite radio show on Friday, according to People.
The revelation came during to the appearance of pet psychic Sonya Fitzpatrick, who told Rosie that her Chihuahua was “so spoiled and loves to burrow.”
Asked who takes care of the dog, Rosie said her four children compete for it – and explained that she purchased the pooch three days after Kelli moved out.
“After… I got the dog,” she said. “Because I wanted another child or something to love. And I got the dog.”
In an earlier interview with USA Today in October, Rosie said that she and Kelli were “working on our issues.”
“We’re a family. We will remain a family forever… Kelli and I love each other very much and we are working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever. And that is something that has been agreed upon by all parties,” she said at the time.
