LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Katy Perry celebrated her 25th birthday in style – Willie Wonka style.

The “Hot N Cold” singer paid homage to “Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” with a themed party in Los Angeles that left attendees splatted with multi-colored paint on Saturday night. The singer even donned Oompa-Loompa painted nails that she showed off on her Twitter page.

The bash, attended by new boyfriend Russell Brand and pals Taylor Swift, Julianne Hough and blogger Perez Hilton, was held at The Beach restaurant on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood, according to the Daily Mail.

But the colorful theme wasn’t the only attraction.

Perez gushed about the dinner that proceeded the night of revelry to the tunes of NYC DJ collective the MisShapes on his blog.

“Dinner included lots of yumminess, especially some deelish yellow and green mashed potatoes - and there was so many sweets downstairs for dessert that we’re surprised we didn’t go into a food coma,” he wrote, calling the party “INSANELY AMAZING.”
