Sally Field To Star As Lincoln’s Wife Opposite Daniel Day-Lewis In Biopic From Spielberg

Sally Field has signed on to play the wife of Abraham Lincoln in Steven Spielberg’s film biography of the 16th president.

The casting announcement Wednesday gives “Lincoln” a pair of two-time Academy Award winners in lead roles.

‘Brothers & Sisters’ Actress Sally Field Honored At High School Alma Mater

LOS ANGELES, Calif.

Sally Field’s high school still likes — really likes — the actress.

The 64-year-old Oscar and Emmy winning star of ABC’s “Brothers&Sisters” was honored Friday at the Birmingham Community Charter High School in the San Fernando Valley community of Lake Balboa. Students and faculty gathered at the school’s performing arts center, originally built in 1976, to dedicate the auditorium in Field’s name.

Hollywood icons Martin Sheen and Sally Field may soon be caught in Spidey’s web.

Sheen, 70, and Field, 64, are in talks to take on the roles of Uncle Ben and Aunt May, respectively, in the upcoming “Spider-Man” film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
