“The Hunger Games” is still the first item on the menu for movie fans, taking in $61.1 million to remain the No. 1 film in its second weekend.

Studio estimates Sunday put Lionsgate’s “The Hunger Games” well ahead of Sam Worthington’s action sequel “Wrath of the Titans,” which opened in second-place with $34.2 million.

For his latest movie, crime thriller “Man on a Ledge,” the sexy star, 35, was forced to spend hours standing on a 14-inch deep ledge, 200-feet above the New York City street below – a feat he wasn’t initially sure he’d be able accomplish.

George Clooney’s “The Ides of March” opens a star-studded Venice Film Festival on Wednesday, and fans will also see two other Hollywood actor/directors, Madonna and Al Pacino, premiering their latest directorial efforts.

Clooney’s political drama is among 23 films — five from Hollywood — vying for the coveted Golden Lion, which will be awarded Sept. 10.

LOS ANGELES, Calif.

Sam Worthington will soon return to the big screen as the stubborn and courageous demi-god Perseus for the upcoming “Clash of the Titans 2,” and the Aussie actor says the second movie in the Greek mythology story is going be “terrific.”

“We just finished,” Sam told Access Hollywood of filming the “Clash of the Titans” sequel, at the junket for his upcoming thriller, “The Debt,” in Los Angeles on Saturday. “[I] loved it. It’s great. I love working with [director] Jonathan Liebesman and you know, I think this is Jonathan Liebesman’s take on what ‘Clash of the Titans’ should be, and I think it’s going to be terrific.”
