Bill Hader is going to be a dad.

Hader, “Saturday Night Live’s” man of a thousand voices and his wife of nearly three years, Maggie Carey, are expecting their first child in late September, a rep for the star confirmed to Access Hollywood.

“I’m really excited,” the actor told People. “I think it’s going to be awesome.”

Despite Hader’s day job actually taking place at nighttime, he said he plans to use his newborn – the sex of which the couple has not yet discovered — as an excuse in front of his castmates.

“Everybody will have to understand when I’m really tired,” he told the mag. “Kidding – I’m actually handling it well.”

While plenty of parents talk to their babies in a host of voices, Hader’s child may hear a few more than most thanks to the vocally-talented dad. Hader boasts a hefty impersonation repertoire including Vincent Price, “Dateline’s” Keith Morrison, Al Pacino, John Mayer, Daniel Radcliffe, Gregory Peck and Ryan Seacrest.
