Scarlett Johansson: I ‘Flop Sweat’

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Scarlett Johansson is one of Hollywood hottest leading ladies – and she has the perspiration to prove it!

The big screen beauty, who will next be seen as the Black Widow in “Iron Man 2,” opening this Thursday evening, is revealing how her nerves can get the best of her while walking the red carpet.

“I like the getting ready part. I like the hair and the make-up and the pretty dress… It’s just getting on the red carpet I just instantly flop sweat,” Scarlett told Ellen DeGeneres on an episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” airing on Wednesday.

“It’s a weird chemical reaction I have somehow to the red carpet,” she explained. “I don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s just the carpet itself.”

“Maybe if it was a different color?” Ellen suggested.

“Exactly, maybe we should have had a green carpet,” the 25-year-old said.

Ellen asked Scarlett – who is also a singer – if she had the same problem while belting it out on stage in front of a crowd.

“I flop sweat then too!” she admitted. “I probably need a shot to stop that.”
