Move over Britney! Actress Scarlett Johansson proved her singing mettle taking the main stage at the Coachella music festival last night.
The star joined reformed Scottish band the Jesus and Mary Chain to sing vocals on the track “Just Like Honey.”
Wearing a mini dress, fedora hat and cherry red high heels, Scarlett joined the band on stage three-quarters of the way through their set. The band"s singer, Jim Reid did not tell the thousands in the crowd who their special guest was but hugged her at the end of the song.
Scarlett’s break out film, “Lost In Translation,” which co-starred Bill Murray was soundtracked by Jesus and Mary Chain Songs.
Though she has been the only film star to appear on stage this weekend so far, dozens of celebrities have turned up for the annual event which will have attracted almost 100,000 by Sunday night. Among the celebs who have been spotted in the crowd are Coachella regulars Danny DeVito, Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz.
