Former on-screen/current off-screen couple Blake Lively and Penn Badgley will battle it out for box office supremacy this weekend, with their respective new releases – “The Town” and “Easy A.”
In “The Town,” Blake stars alongside Ben Affleck, Jon Hamm, Jeremy Renner and Rebecca Hall in the crime thriller. The blonde bombshell plays Renner’s on-screen sister and the sometimes-object of Affleck’s character’s affection.
Meanwhile, in the teen relationship comedy “Easy A,” Penn plays lovable high school mascot Woodchuck Todd opposite Emma Stone’s lead character, Olive, whose life on campus starts to share an ironic parallel to “The Scarlet Letter’s” Hester Pryne.
While moviegoers will decide which star comes out on top, the critics have already weighed in, hailing both films as “See Its” in Access Hollywood’s “See It/Skip It” critics’ round up!
