LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Selena Gomez just had one of her best weekends ever.

When Gomez got a call from Radio Disney’s Jake Whetter with news that her latest single, “Falling Down,” hit the number one spot on the radio network’s “Top 30 Countdown with Jake,” she could hardly contain her excitement.

Gomez, the star of Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place” was surprised and screamed, “What? Are you kidding me? OMG, I’m number one! That’s so crazy! Thank You! I’ve never ever had number one and I listen to the countdown.”

After hearing her song actually play on the “Top 30 Countdown,” she added, “OMG, that’s so crazy! I’m so thankful. Thank you so much for making me number one.”

In addition to her great news, Gomez spent Halloween with tons of kids who were out “Trick-or-Treat(ing) for UNICEF,” the program she is an ambassador for.
