LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Maybe she likes bad boys. Maybe she just has a thing for stars in the news.
But whatever it is, Selena Gomez has got the hots for Shia LaBeouf.
“Right now, my crush is Shia LaBeouf,” Selena said on “The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet.” “He is cute and a great actor.”
The 16-year-old Disney darling hit the popular morning show to talk about everything from her celebrity crushes to her reported feud with fellow tween sensation Miley Cyrus.
Much has been made about a rumored rift between Miley and her apparent Disney successor Selena. Fuel flooded the fire last week when a YouTube clip surfaced, showing Miley and a pal mocking Selena and fellow Disney star Demi Lovato.
So what does Selena make of the reported bad blood?
“The press just wants there to be a feud,” Selena said. “They want something to talk about. There is no feud.”
Also adding to the Miley-Selena storyline was speculation Selena is now dating Nick Jonas, who previously was romantically linked to Miley.
But if Selena and Nick are officially an item, Selena isn’t ready to talk about it.
“I don’t have a boyfriend right now,” she claimed. “I go on dates and have crushes and stuff though.”
And while Selena’s star power continues to grow, so does the attention which comes her way – for better or worse. Of late, Selena has started to become a paparazzi target, something she said she doesn’t want to stand in the way of her and her fans when she’s out and about.
“I try to take pictures with all the kids,” Selena concluded. “When it’s crazy old men trying to take my picture… I’m sorry. I’m strictly with the kids.”
