Shailene Woodley In Talks For Spider-Man 2 As Mary Jane Watson

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Peter Parker is close to finding his ladylove!

According to Variety, “The Descendants” star Shailene Woodley is in talks to play Mary Jane Watson in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone.

Additionally, Electro is rumored to be the villain in the Marc Webb-directed sequel.

Variety also reported that the project is searching for Peter Parker’s best friend/enemy, Harry Osborn, who was played by James Franco in the original web-slinger big screen trilogy.

“The Amazing Spider-Man” sequel will swing into theaters on May 2, 2014.
