HOLLYWOOD, Calif. --
As if “Skating with the Stars” didn’t have enough problems…
Today, not one, but two participants experienced medical emergencies on set while training for the show, a source confirms to Access Hollywood.
TMZ was the first to report that contestant Brandon Smith (“Sonny with a Chance”) was taken to the hospital today, with what is suspected to be food poisoning. A 911 call was placed after Brandon was reported to have had trouble breathing.
Later on, Brooke Castile, the professional partner of contestant Jonny Mosely, was taken to a hospital after Jonny supposedly kicked her hand, cutting her and creating a gash that reached almost down to the bone.
Brooke is expected to skate on tonight’s broadcast, while Brandon’s status is still unclear.
