Smashing Pumpkins Frontman Billy Corgan Collapses On Stage

“And for or those that saw me fall last night during Bullet, that wasn’t a stage move or clumsiness,” the singer, who has been previously linked to Jessica Simpson and Tila Tequila, Tweeted on Thursday. “That was me blacking out and wiping out.”

Despite his onstage fall, the singer appeared to be on the mend.

“I have no memory of falling against the drum riser and my guitar cabinet, but I can tell you I’ve got quite a good bruise + am moving slow,” Billy, 43, wrote in another posting.

Billy and the rest of the Pumpkins are scheduled to play Knoxville, Tenn., tonight.
