SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. --
“Jersey Shore’s” Snooki has herself a brand new car – but the reality star admitted this morning that she can’t even drive it!
The pint-sized Princess of Poughkeepsie is able to see over the steering wheel and her trademark Poof fits inside the car, so why are her new wheels curbed?
“I bought a new car. I got a 2011 BWM, that I can’t drive because it’s stick,” Snooki told Matt Lauer during an interview on the “Today” show on Thursday morning. “But it’s still a good time.”
Snooki – along with co-stars Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley and Vinny Guadagnino – kicked off Season 2 of their hit show, which premieres tonight on MTV, with an interview from their “Shore” house in Seaside Heights, N.J. Snooki was quick to squash questions about the cast’s reported pay raises.
“We don’t come here to talk about money; we come here to party,” Snooki told Matt. “We haven’t discussed those things, and we shouldn’t. We just come here to have a good time.”
She also claimed that she and her co-stars don’t plan out the show’s drama.
“When we come here, we don’t think about what’s going to be cut and screwed, we just come out to have a good time,” she said. “We don’t think about [the show’s editing]. Because if you do, you’ll drive yourself crazy and you won’t be yourself.”
DJ Pauly D addressed New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s recent criticism of them and their show. The Governor, also in a recent interview with the “Today” show, said that the cast doesn’t accurately represent his state.
“I love New Jersey,” Pauly said when asked the Governor’s comments. “I love coming here; it’s a blast, and everybody likes to have us here. We’ve got a lot of friends here.”
As for their antics, Vinny explained that it’s all just life on the Shore.
“We’re young kids; we go out to clubs, and sometimes things happen,” he said.
“Jersey Shore” Season 2 – where we’ll see the cast in Miami – debuts tonight on MTV at 10 PM.
