LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Even Snoop Dogg isn’t immune to Hollywood’s bloodsucker craze — the rapper wants to be a vampire.
“You know I’m down with it,” the rapper told MTV News of HBO’s “True Blood,” which he name-drops in his latest single, “Gangsta Luv.” “I love that show. I wish I could be on it. I’d be a hell of a vampire, don’t you think?”
Snoop even reached out to the show, asking them to contact him.
“So what’s happenin’? ‘True Blood,’ get at me — Snoop Dogg wants to be a vampire,” he said.
A vampiric role wouldn’t be Snoop’s first on-screen take on the supernatural – he starred as the undead narrator in the 2006 horror anthology “Snoop Dogg’s Hood Of Horror.”
Snoop’s next album, “Malice In Wonderland,” is due on December 8.
