LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag will come face to face with Al Roker next week – the first meeting with the journalist since their tense “Today” interview back in June.
“They’re excited about Round 2 with Al Roker,” a source close to Spencer told Access Hollywood on Wednesday.
After leaving the “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here” jungle in early summer, Spencer and Heidi made a series of promotional appearances, including one on “Today” where they were interviewed by Al who questioned the couple about their behavior on the reality program.
While they were calm and collected on “Today,” following the interview, Spencer told Access Hollywood the weatherman asking them questions about whether they were proud of their jungle behavior angered him immensely.
“I don’t think I recall my heart pounding that hard post-jungle,” Spencer told Access at the time. “I think that’s the only time since the jungle my heart has gotten that worked up.”
Spencer added that his “Today” visit was “an awful experience,” and said, “I don’t think I’d want to go back.”
But it appears the two will meet on November 16 as the couple promotes their new book, “How To Be Famous.”
“Spencer is excited that Al is his interviewer,” the source added.
