Star Jones & Al Reynolds Finalize Divorce

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption Star Jones and Al Reynolds at the Golden Globes in 2005Former “View” co-host Star Jones and her ex-husband, Al Reynolds, have finalized their divorce, Access Hollywood has learned.

“Star Jones and Al Reynolds have reached an amicable settlement in their divorce proceeding and expect the divorce to be finalized in the very near future. Both parties are moving on with their private lives and will be making no further public comments consistent with the terms of their settlement. Thank you for respecting their privacy,” a rep for Jones said in a statement released to Access.

Back in April, Star discussed her divorce from Al, saying she would emerge “stronger” from the experience.

“Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman,” she said in a statement to Access.

Star and Al were married in November 2004 in New York City. The massive ceremony included 500 hundred guests, three matrons of honors and 12 bridesmaids.
