Stars Celebrate Royal Wedding
Most stars may not have had an invitation to the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Princess Catherine on Friday in London, but that didn’t stop some of the biggest names in Hollywood from celebrating the momentous occasion.
Before the event even started, “Modern Family’s” Eric Stonestreet Tweeted, “so so so so so so so so so so super excited for the Royal Wedding. I LOVE weddings and the more Royal they r, the better. LOVE EM!!!”
Many stars woke up early on Friday morning to catch the historic event live.
“Up with the baby watching the royal wedding.the dress was so elegant.can you imagine how she is feeling today?” Bravo star Bethenny Frankel wrote.
Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden also tuned in bright and early. “Got up early to watch the royal wedding. Not gonna lie i got a little choked up. I’m a sucker for a good love story. Congrats Royal Family,” he Tweeted.
Along with crooner Josh Groban, who wrote, “Ok I admit it, I’ve been up watching. Got a bit sleepy after the whole “I will” part but the music was gorgeous.”
Many of stars raved about the bride’s stunning wedding day look.
“I love Kate Middleton’s dress. The lace, the sleeves, the veil…perfection! She looks absolutely gorgeous!” Ivanka Trump wrote.
Melissa Joan Hart agreed, Tweeting, “She looks gorgeous!! Perfect for a royal wedding! Not too thrilled with William in red, I prefer Harrys!! Grace Kelly and Princess Diana are very strongly felt at this royal wedding! I wish them both love and joy for decades to come!”
Actor Alec Mapa even got a little emotional when he laid eyes on the Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding gown. “The dress is perfect. I’m crying like a b****.”
Singer Justin Bieber took time on Friday to send out love to the Royal Couple, writing, “congrats to William and Kate …and Kate’s sister. She was a hit with @thatrygood”
While “Community” star Joel McHale kept his Royal Wedding Tweets humorous, writing, “Just woke up. Did I miss anything?”
