Robert Pattinson may be trading in his fangs and joining the circus.
According to Variety, “The Twilight Saga” star is mulling a role in Fox 2000’s period piece “Water For Elephants,” a novel adaptation following a veterinary student who joins the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth during the Great Depression.

LOS ANGELES, Calif.
The first volume in the graphic adaptation of author Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” series will be released on March 16, 2010, according to Yen Press.
“Twilight: The Graphic Novel” contains text from the original novel, complete with illustrations by Young Kim. It will be released for $19.99 in hardcover with a first printing of 350,000 copies.

Adam Lambert Tweeted in October that he wanted to be a “glampire” for Halloween, but apparently his interest in vampires extends to Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight Saga” franchise as well.
The singer, who just released his first post-“American Idol” album last week — “For Your Entertainment” — told MTV News he’s interested in having “Suburban Decay,” a track that didn’t make his debut album, land a spot on “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” soundtrack next year.

A host of “The Twilight Saga” stars hit the red carpet last night for the premiere of “New Moon” with one notable exception – Rachelle Lefevre.
Rachelle plays evil vampire Victoria in the second film in Stephenie Meyer’s vampire series, but was replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard in “Eclipse,” the third installment, following a scheduling conflict.
And on Monday night, Rachelle explained two things kept her away – her sick dog Honey and the recasting.
