LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Victor Cruz of The New York Giants poses in the media center at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards at Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 12, 2012Caption Victor Cruz of The New York Giants poses in the media center at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards at Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 12, 2012Victor Cruz’s football moves helped lead the New York Giants to a Super Bowl victory, and now, his spicy touchdown hip action has caught the attention of “Dancing with the Stars” producers.

“They actually called already,” the Giants wide receiver told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson of “Dancing with the Stars” producers’ interest, during an interview backstage at the 2012 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday. “I had to decline, unfortunately.”

The football star said he wants to keep his eyes on the game for now, but didn’t rule out a possible future run at the mirrorball trophy.

“I had to decline, just because I want to focus on football and focus on my craft a little bit,” he told Shaun. “So, maybe in the future.”

Victor, who was on hand at the award show (along with Giants wide receiver Mario Manningham) to present the Grammy for Best Rock Performance, said being on the Grammy stage was more nerve-wracking than playing pro football.

“What do you think is harder?” Shaun asked Victor.

“Definitely that Grammy stage, man,” he replied. “You don’t have a helmet on, you’re not running around, it’s just people starring at you wondering what you’re gonna do next. So, it was definitely a great experience and I’d definitely do it again.”
