A publicist for Sylvester Stallone says the actor’s son, Sage Stallone, has died in Los Angeles at age 36.
Michelle Bega said in a statement Friday that the elder Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken by his son’s death. The circumstances of how Sage Stallone died were not immediately available.
Los Angeles police say they were sent to investigate a death at a home on Friday afternoon, but could not confirm the person’s identity or offer details.
Coroner’s officials also say they were in the initial stages of the investigation.
Sage Moonblood Stallone was the oldest of Sylvester Stallone’s children and appeared with his father in two films. He made his acting debut in 1990’s “Rocky V,” and also appeared with his father in 1996’s “Daylight.”
Bega released the following statement to Access Hollywood:
“Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone. His compassion and thoughts are with Sage’s mother, Sasha. Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man, his loss will be felt forever.”
