Tara Reid Wedding Called Off

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption Tara Reid steps out at the Project We The Children benefit at the House of Blues on January 28, 2010 in West Hollywood, CaliforniaTara Reid’s wedding plans have been dashed, People reported.

“Tara Reid has confirmed that she will not be moving forward with her May 22 nuptials,” a rep for the star said in a statement to the mag.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the “Van Wilder” star became engaged to businessman Michael Axtmann in January.

“Michael surprised Tara with a beautiful round brilliant cut ring,” her rep told Access at the time. “Tara was so happy, and the other patrons clapped and yelled out, ‘Congratulations.’”

The star had been planning an intimate ceremony.

Tara recently finished two movies, the thriller “The Fields” and a comedy titled “Last Call.”
