Billy where do we start with the great man rate here. Terri Cruz. Hardest working man in show business. New film blended with Adam and drew and looks hysterical and just named the new host of who wants to be a millionaire. Also a new book book called man hood. How to be a better man or live with one. Show us the back of the book. Right there. This is good. People you have to see the back too. Shouldn't the back be the front. No. No. It's, it's like the little sneaky thing you try to surprise your honey. You know what I'm saying and the book is my gift to the world that they didn't know it was coming. There is some gripping stuff in this book. I want to get to that but first, let's talk about Sandler and barrymore you steal the movie. Straight up comedy. Sandler and I have made some historic movies. He created cheeseburger eddy p.we did that and he put me in click. He put me in bench warmer. We have the best relationship and he was like I need somebody who can come in and I need a scene stealer. Somebody who will come in and will just be eclectic and crazy and I did not disappoint. I said Adam, I got you. I'm your man. He's basically the south african Tom Jones this character. The hair. The outfit. Did you pick the hair. Yes. I literally we didn't know what the character was going to be. I went got the wig made. I got the suit made. And the director was like dude, you spend all this money. Man you better find out if we weren't this man we won't pay you back. I said you will love what I bring to you. They did. They wept witness. In the pictures let's hear it from the man. Look at blended. The past pass if they are bonding. ♪♪ ♪♪. Didn't know you worked out together but it makes sense. Fight one person meets another come together ♪♪ ♪♪. The eyes. The crazy eyes going. The whole time. He's the world biggest entertainer. Powerful. That's what we d.south african Tom Jones we decided to just go all out and I had the best time playing this character. I want to keep doing him. There's a spend off there has to be. By the way, the dude the boob movement thereboob movement there right there. Is there there. Is there any cgi effect. I have seep the move before but that's. Not at all. No cgi on "Access Hollywood". No. You don't. It's real baby. It's real. It comes from having no girlfriend. I was like 14. Sitting at home. I wish somebody would love me. My peck moved. I wish I had a girlfriend the other one moved and but you know what, I found my wife and once I found her she was like I love your peck popping and we have been married 25 years. As of this year. Look at her. As quirky as I am she understands me. She gets me. She loves me. And that allows me to do all this quirky stuff for the world. Quirky stuff. You are on fire. Hear so many stories about people finally making it. Having success and then they move on. They get a different crowd. They get a different girl. You have grown closer to your wife through this success. Exactly. One thing I realized is that realized is that I was an idiot, okay. And once you know you are an idiot then you can change. Once you realize that you are, you don't know everything. You don't have it figured out. The they think that stops you from growing when you got it I got this don't worry bit. That's when the guy gets hit by a car. Instantly. It's funny because every person is one of 3 things at one time in their life. Fool. Victim. Or you are a king. And when you are a fool, a fool gets, a fool gets mad and people try to help him. Stay out of the street. Leave me alone I know what I'm doing. Pow! I was that fall for a long long time. Then you graduate to victim and victim someone to blame what happen you mess everything up as a victim you are like. I was messed up because my wife didn't tell me and my mama and my parents and I'm a black man so that's Y.I had to stop. A king, however, king, however, makes no excuses. A king takes total responsibility for everything in his life. Good and bad. No xling. There's no excuses. It's all on you. And that's when everything changed for me. I was no listening era victim. No longer a fool. And started taking advantage of all the good things that were right there in front of me the whole time. Where did that come from, how did you get to king? Was there a moment. Well, you know it's funny because you hit rock bottom. It's like Washington happened is I fell off several cliff and you think you are on the bottom but you hit a ledge. Ouch ouch that hurt. I was a fool with money. What happens is they take your house. Wow! I need to really change what is happening here. Let me tell you as a fool my which have decided I can't put up with this any movrment I need to go you are like oh, snap. She told you she was going to leave. She told me. If you don't change it's over. I'm going hold on. Something needs to change. And it's me. It's me. And I started to study. I started to learn. Started to understand who I was. Where I was going. And I said man, I do need to change. I do need to become a better person. I do, the stuff I did before does not count now. You pick up a lot of things. You ping all the stuff that you don't need to take with you. It's weird. People think these things are cultural and whatever. Cultural and whatever. No. No. There are a lot of things great about your culture but things you need things you need to leave behind. I need to treat women in a certain way. Women are equal. They are everythingequal. They are everything, every bit a part of us. I was part of the alpha male thing. It's a map's world. This is how man does it. Then my which have was like hold on buddy that's not the way this works. I saw my daughters and you see somebody treating your daughter less than and you are like wait a minute. That is not the way this thing works and I had to change my well frame of mind. My thinkingth my mind set and it changed my life. How you grew up because in your book there's a chapter in here about your father's. Abusive to your mother. Yes. How did you break the cycle? You know, the it's wild because once you see the result of all the stuff and it's phone because you start to go in a pattern. You say I don't want to be like my dad but then you are doing things that are just lecture dad. Then you start to relevantize I did, I had to face the fact that I did not come from my parents. I came through my parents. So what you -- once you see that, you start to understand that I don't have to do what they did. I can be my own person. But what happens is people get fooled into thinking I am from them so I have to -- I'm destined to be this way. I'm destined to be that way. The world always wants to keep new one place. A lot of people don't want to you change. A lot of people they get paid for to you stay the same. The deal is once you wake up and you realize that you don't have to be that person any more, it's the day you are free. Let me tell you slavery is one thing. Has to be agreed upon. You have to agree to be. You have to say I decide I'm going to be a part of your system. This the minute you decide wait a minute. I don't want to be a slave any more. I'm gone. You are free instantly. Instantly. I'm sorry I'm getting deep here. I'm getting deep. Look Washington happened. You talk in the book you do have this moment where you went home. Dad was a drinker. Dad was physical with your mother. And you write about you and your brother going your brother going to the house. You said before you wept home for vacation the kids are with me I don't want to see the old behavior. Your dad said fine then all hell broke loose one night and hit your mom. Her tooth was out. The kids were there. The kid were there and you told mom to leave you and your brother beat the (bleep) Out of your father. Yes. Was that a fraeing moment liberated in that moment or awful. Let me tell you what happened. Once I dreamed about the day I would be a grown man and could I get my father back. Dreamed of it dreamed of it. Wanted revenge. Couldn't wait for it and the time came and I did it. I beat my father up me and my brother beat him up for what he did to my mother. And it was horrible. I did not feel one bit of freedom one bit of now things are better. I felt worse. I felt worse. Because now I was just like him. He's on the ground. He's down. Am I now superior? Am I now better? No. Not one bit. You know what I had to do. I had to for give him. For give him. Because for giveness allows me to not be a victim. As long as you don't for give somebody you are always a victim. Because you can always blame them. . I'm this way because my father is this always blame them. Once I for gave him I was free. I wasn't a victim any more. Then I was free to do what I wanted to did. I had to protect myself and my mom or whatever but for giveness doesn't mean I have to allow it. For give fez does not mean you are cool. For giveness no, sir does not mean for getting but it means it doesn't effect me. I won't let what you do affect my future. I thought I was so much pwechlts it didn't work. You went from victim to king. That's right. Where you are now. That's right. This by the way red book magazine picked it up. Terri wrote a letter to his kids dear kids advice what you have learned make a home where everyone feels heard and respected and that starts with your marriage.
