“The Borgias” said goodbye to one of the family last Sunday, when Juan met his end at the hand of his brother Cesare.
And although he may have been quite the wicked son – dangling his sister’s baby over the balcony, and attempting to have his way with an innocent young lady last week – don’t expect Juan’s death to pass without consequences, as British actor David Oakes hinted when he spoke with AccessHollywood.com ahead of this Sunday’s Season 2 finale on Showtime.

Showtime’s “The Borgias” roars back with a real vengeance on Sunday, and returning as Cesare Borgias, actor Francois Arnaud is stepping into focus.
Last season, the Montreal-bred actor played sidekick to Jeremy Irons’ Pope Alexander. This season, though, the rising star takes Cesare – the Pope’s loyal son, willing to plot and poison for daddy — into dark vigilante territory, with a swashbuckling flare. Being bad is definitely good in this case and makes the Season 2 return on Sunday at 10 PM a much watch.

Showtime’s “original crime family” drama, “The Borgias,” wraps up its first season this weekend and there’s some big trouble in store for Jeremy Iron’s Pope Alexander VI and his clan.
”[Cardinal] Della Rovere definitely brings his carnage to Rome, well, through Italy,” series star Holliday Grainger, who plays Borgias daughter Lucrezia, told Access Hollywood, of what’s coming up in this week’s dramatic season finale.
