“The Carrie Diaries,” The CW series, which looks at the life of a teenage Carrie Bradshaw growing up in the 1980s, has been renewed by the network for Season 2.
“Woohoo! Can’t wait to start filming another season of #TheCarrieDiaries! Thank you #carriers! You are the best,” Amy B. Harris, showrunner for the drama, Tweeted on Thursday.
AnnaSophia Robb, who plays the teenage Carrie shared her enthusiasm on Twitter, writing, “Yay!!! #TheCarrieDiaries got picked up for season 2! Thank you #Carriers for your support,”
There was good news too for The CW’s “Nikita,” which also was renewed for another (shorter) season.
“Look out! NIKITA is renewed! Listen, shortened order or not be prepared to have the best season yet! :) #slamdunk,” Shane West wrote on Twitter.
