The CW Unveils New Shots From ‘The Vampire Diaries’

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhlader from The CW’s ‘The Vampire Diaries’The CW has just unveiled hot new shots from their fall 2009 series, “The Vampire Diaries.”

The series stars “Degrassi: The Next Generation’s” Nina Dobrev, “Everwood’s” Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder from “Lost.”

Nina plays Elena, a parent-less high school student, and the quest of both Stefan, played by Paul, and the evil Damon, played by Ian.

The series is based on the bestselling series by L.J. Smith and was brought to television by the creator of “Dawson’s Creek” and “Scream.”

“The Vampire Diaries” premieres on The CW on Thursday September 10 at 8pm.
