UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif.
Auditions kicked off on Monday for the “Rocky Horror Picture Show,” which is coming to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood. Southern California’s popular annual Halloween event, begins a 16-night run on Friday, October 2.
The show joins four new maze experiences, four new “scare zones,” new “Terror Tram” backlot experience, and new “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure” production, that represent the re-imagining of Halloween Horror Nights for 2009 at Universal Studios Hollywood.

As the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Award nominations were announced on Thursday, a number of nominations garnered special attention.
“Farrah’s Story,” the documentary on Farrah Fawcett’s battle with cancer, was nominated for Outstanding Nonfiction Special – an honor coming just weeks after the “Charlie’s Angels” star’s death from the disease. Farrah earned three previous Emmy nominations during her acting career.
