LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 19, 2007) — The Emmy television nominations are in. Below, Access Hollywood runs down the stars’ reactions.
I am so thrilled and proud that the TV Academy has honored Ugly Betty with 11 nominations this morning. We are all very excited and appreciate being recognized in so many categories. Ugly Betty is a project close to my heart and I truly feel grateful that we have been embraced and supported in such a big way. |It feels good to be nominated always . . . I’m happy that the show did so well with the nominations cause it is the last year and we all get to go out there together one more time and it’s a good way to go out. Michael Imperioli, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series nominee, “The Sopranos”|
“We’ve got a lot of attention, I think, just based on the fact the show is pretty different than anything that is out there right now. I think just the title alone from the get-go captivated people to get interested and see what it’s about. … It’s unique television at the moment.” — American Ferrera, Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series nominee, Ugly Betty
It is a really special day when so many of your cohorts receive a nomination that the idea of carpooling now becomes unrealistic. I tip my hat to our brilliant cast, crew and writers. Charlie Sheen, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series nominee, Two And A Half Men
“This is an outrage!” — Tina Fey, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series nominee, “30 Rock”
“I’m grateful to be nominated.” — Alec Baldwin, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series nominee, “30 Rock”

“This is a really big moment for me as a comedian. This is like the pinnacle for comics. You want to do an HBO special and you want to get nominated for the show.” Wanda Sykes, Outstanding Variety, Music Or Comedy Special nominee, Wanda Sykes: Sick And Tired
Its certainly a much better way to start my morning than yesterday when I spilled hot tea all over myself. I couldnt be happier and more thrilled. — Masi Oka, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series nominee, “Heroes”
“I didn’t actually sleep too well last night. I won last year and was sort of anticipating it, but you’re never sure. I have to leave in about 20 minutes to do a `Boston Legal’ scene with James Spader, who is also nominated (as best actor in a drama series). It is the best possible way to go to work.” Christian Clemenson, Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series nominee, Boston Legal
“Now that Megan Mullally’s not in the category, I might have a chance. She’s won like 15 of them. Last year I saw I was nominated against her and said, `Oh well, that was fun.”’ Jamie Pressly, Outstanding Supporting Actress nominee in a Comedy Series, My Name Is Early

Marcia Gay Harden, Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series nominee, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
