The BET Awards promised to honor Michael Jackson – and the show delivered on Sunday night.

The show opened with a medley of songs from the star’s youth in the Jackson 5, performed by a reunited New Edition performing with former member Bobby Brown, before host Jamie Foxx took the stage dressed in a “Thriller”-era outfit.

A lawyer who’s opposed rapper T.I. and boxer Evander Holyfield in child-support cases is representing R&B singer Usher’s wife in their split.

Usher filed for divorce on Friday from Tameka Foster Raymond after less than two years of marriage. The singer whose real name is Usher Raymond IV has two sons with Foster Raymond.
