Tim Tebow Shoots Down No-Cussing Salon Rumor

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

After rumors surfaced claiming the religious New York Jets quarterback recently visited a Beverly Hills Salon and requested a hairstylist who refrains from using curse words, Access Hollywood caught up with the 24-year-old athlete to get the real story.
“[That rumor] is probably just about as real as me living in Hoboken or dating Kim Kardashian,” Tim told Access Hollywood’s Michelle Beadle at the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday, when asked if there was any truth to the cussing ban. “So, yeah, it definitely doesn’t have a lot of truth to it.”
As a professional football player whose days include hours of locker room talk surrounded by men, Tim said the idea that he can’t handle a few F-bombs is ludicrous.
“I do play the sport of football,” he said with a laugh.
