The Golden Globes will be comic gold for the next two years!
NBC announced on Tuesday that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards.
In addition to 2014, the pair – who first hosted together in 2013 – will return to host again in 2015.
“Tina and Amy are two of the most talented comedic writer/performers in our business and they were a major reason the Golden Globes was the most entertaining awards show of last season,” Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC Entertainment, said in a statement on Tuesday. “We’re elated they wanted to host together again and that they committed for the next two years.”
“We are thrilled Amy and Tina have decided to return as hosts of the Golden Globe Awards for the next two years,” Hollywood Foreign Press Association president Theo Kingma said in a statement. “Their return ensures that the Golden Globes will once again be the biggest, best and most entertaining awards celebration of the year.”
The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards will air live on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 8 PM ET and 5 PM PT on NBC.
