LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Tom Brady says he and wife Gisele have a baby on the way.

The New England Patriots quarterback admitted to ESPN‘s Chris Berman in an interview to air on Sunday’s “SportsCenter” and “Monday NFL Countdown” that the supermodel is pregnant with the couple’s first child.

”[She’s due at the] end of the year,” Tom said.

And the athlete said he’ll be happy to join Gisele in Lamaze classes.

“Well, it couldn’t be harder than this training camp, so I’ll be prepared,” he said. “The women are the ones who have to do the work, we just have to be there and support them, so it’ll be nice to do that.”

But Tom, who will take the field again this season after sitting out much of last season with a knee injury, said he did have one requirement for her birth.

“I told her… no Sundays,” he said.

Tom had previously issued denials about the pregnancy.

“I’ve got dogs, that’s all I need,” he told the Boston Herald earlier this year when asked if he had a second child on the way. “One is enough.”

The star also has a two-year-old son, John, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
