Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have welcomed a bouncing baby boy into the world.
The proud parents announced the birth of their son – Finn Davey McDermott, the couple’s fourth child together – on the pair’s joint Twitter account, and her blog on Thursday night.
“We are so excited to announce the birth of the newest member of the McDermott family,” the couple wrote on Tori’s blog, posting a photo of the actress’ finger holding the newborn’s hand. Click HERE to see the pic.
Finn was born at 5:39 PM and the family noted on the blog he weighed in at “6 pounds, 6 ounces” and was “20 inches long.”
“Love, Tori, Dean, Liam, Stella, and Hattie,” the family added.
On Wednesday, Tori was enjoying being pregnant, writing on Twitter that her daughter Stella was making her giggle.
“Stella just said to me ‘well mom… I guess you have a bun in the oven’ don’t know how she even knows that saying! Made me laugh,” Tori Tweeted.
Tori first revealed she was expecting back in March.
She told Access Hollywood in an interview at the time that the couple found out about their happy news in the most unexpected way.
“We found out the news together. I had chronic migraines and I was in the emergency room getting treated for one of my migraines and when I got there they said, ‘Before we can treat you, you have to do the pee in the cup.’ And I said ‘Oh, don’t worry I’m not pregnant. I just had a baby a month ago.’ And they [said], ‘Sorry, it’s policy at the hospital,’” Tori told Access Hollywood at the time.” “So I did it, and they came back and said, ‘You’re pregnant!’ And I said, ‘That can’t be!’”
Tori said they offered to give her a blood test and when that too indicated she was pregnant, the realization set in.
“Dean and I kind of sat there in shock for a while and then we said, ‘Well, we wanted four… This is when our miracle wanted to come… so we’ll take it,’” she said.
Finn is Dean’s fifth child. His oldest child — Jack, from a previous relationship, is now a teenager.
