Caption Tori Spelling talks to Access Hollywood LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Move over Kelly Taylor — a grown up Donna Martin is heading back to “90210” as well.
Tori Spelling will return to the world’s most famous zip code for the new “90210,” according to E! Online.
Spelling has been written into the pilot according to sources who spoke to the network.
The actress, who is currently pregnant with her second child, told Access Hollywood in March that she was hoping to work on the new series.
”I would love to be a part of it,” Tori said. “Who would I play? I would play the sexy [mom] obviously. Every teen drama has a [hot mom] — stepmother of course because I couldn’t possibly have a teenage daughter.”
It’s not known if Tori’s character, Donna Martin, will actually be a mom in the series, but she reportedly is involved in a shopping scene.
In related news, Ian Ziering, who played Steve Saunders on the original show, is hoping to join the cast too, sources told E! His reps reportedly contact The CW on an “almost daily basis.”
