LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

While most of Hollywood was getting ready for the red carpet, Dean McDermott spent his Sunday in the emergency room.

“Just got out of the Hospital. It is a really bad stomach virus,” he Tweeted on Sunday night. “We’re not ruling out appendix though. Keepin an eye on it. Heading home now.”

Earlier on Sunday, the “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood” star Tweeted about his hospital care with help from wife Tori Spelling.

“Getting 2 liters of fluid, pain meds, anti nausea meds, and my beautiful wife by my side. My day is looking up !!” Dean wrote.

But just an hour earlier, the star was in a less happy state.

“@ the ER. I’ve been violently ill all night and day. There goes my Sunday. This really sucks !!!” he Tweeted.

Luckily, Dean had Tori to keep him company during his tough time.

“Only I would get a [frozen] packaged bean and cheese burrito from the hospital cafeteria vending machine… And be excited for it,” Tori Tweeted on Sunday.
