Tori Spelling: ‘No Feud’ With Mom

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Despite Candy Spelling’s recent claims that daughter Tori Spelling does not call or attempt to communicate with her, the “90210” star told People “there’s no feud” with her mother.

“It’s not like we’re not talking, we just haven’t talked,” Tori, whose new book, “Mommywood,” comes out on Tuesday, told the mag. “I love my mother. I’ve always loved her [and I have] no doubt she loves me. There’s no feud. We simply never meshed.”

Tori said the two haven’t kept in touch of late because of personality conflicts.

“My mother is who she is. I’ve become who I am. At some point I realized those two just didn’t go together,” Tori added.

As previously reported on Access Hollywood, Candy told Access that all lines of communication with her daughter have broken down.

“Tori describes it as complicated… I just don’t speak to her, so I don’t know,” Candy said of her relationship with her daughter. “She doesn’t call, and she doesn’t communicate.”

Candy, who released a her own book last week, “Stories From Candyland,” said she may be used to the ongoing rift with her daughter – but admits it still pains her.

“It hurts not to talk to her…It hurts not to talk, I’ve never even met Stella,” she said of Tori’s 10-month-old daughter with husband Dean McDermott.

Though the two women have problems seeing eye-to-eye, Candy told Access that she’d continue to work on reconciling with Tori.

“I’ve tried many times, you know, and I will continue to try,” Candy said. “Someday we may be successful.”
