LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Tori Spelling is in the hospital undergoing tests related to abdominal pain, Access Hollywood has learned.

A rep for the “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood” star confirmed the actress went to a hospital last night after experiencing pain and returned to the medical facility again today.

“They released her last night,” the rep said in a statement. “She wasn’t feeling better today so she returned to the hospital for more tests.”

The rep said she has not been in touch with Tori since the star returned to the hospital for more tests so no further update on the actress’ condition was available. The rep did confirm that Tori has had to bow out of hosting Lambda Legal’s 17th Annual Liberty Awards tonight in Hollywood.

Last night, Tori’s husband Dean wrote on his Twitter account that his wife was in some serious pain.

“Just out of the hospital,” he wrote after Tori’s first visit. “After a battery of tests, no conclusive answers. She still feels terrible. Hope it passes soon. She’s in a lot of pain.”

This isn’t the first illness to hit the Tori & Dean family. On Monday, Dean also noted on his Twitter that his family no longer had the flu but “now we all have colds.”

And on Emmy night, Sunday Sept. 20, Dean himself went to the hospital with what he called “a really bad stomach virus.”

“We’re not ruling out appendix though. Keepin an eye on it. Heading home now,” he previously wrote.
