Grammy Award-winner Brian Setzer was unable to complete a performance in Albuquerque and was briefly hospitalized because of dehydration, high altitude sickness and vertigo.
But he recovered quickly and planned to perform as scheduled Tuesday night in Phoenix, a posting on his Web site said. The rest of his current tour will continue as planned.

Sundance Institute announced today the lineup of films selected to screen in the U.S. and World Cinema Dramatic and Documentary Competitions for the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. In addition to the four Competition Categories, the Festival presents films in five out-of-competition sections to be announced on December 3. The 2010 Sundance Film Festival runs January 21-31 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.

Sunday night brought the final stop of U2’s soldout North American tour at the famed Rose Bowl in Pasadena. The biggest stadium gig ever to perform at the Bowl (thanks in part to their stage), quickly turned into a global phenomenon… as the band streamed the entire show to the world making it the first global concert Web cast on YouTube. And for the nearly 2 and a half hour show, four Irish lads captivated the world.

Rock band Bon Jovi announced plans Thursday for a new world tour that will swing by the new home of the New York Giants and Jets.
The two-year tour begins February 19, 2010 in Seattle and includes a May 26 show at New Jersey’s new $1.6 billion Meadowlands football stadium, which will be home to the New York Giants and Jets. It will feature 135 shows in 30 countries.
