‘True Blood’s’ Sam Trammell Welcomes Twins

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- It’s twins for “True Blood” star Sam Trammell!

The actor and girlfriend Missy Yager welcomed twin boys on August 9, Access Hollywood has confirmed. Life & Style was first to report the news.

“The couple is very happy that everything went smoothly,” a source told the mag.

The names of the twin boys have not been revealed yet.

The 40-year-old actor, who plays shape shifter Sam Merlotte on the hit HBO series, met his longtime girlfriend – also an actress whose credits include “Mad Men” – eight years ago in New York.

These are the first children for both.
