Nicole Richie: I Need To ‘Stay In Bed & Recover’

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption Nicole Richie steps out at the March of Dimes 4th Annual Celebration of Babies at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on November 7, 2009Nicole Richie might be home from the hospital after battling pneumonia, but the reality starlet won’t be hitting the town anytime soon.

“Right now it’s important for me to stay in bed and recover,” the 28-year-old mom wrote on her blog on Tuesday.

Nicole said the support from her fans and online messages have helped during her health scare.

“Reading all of your messages on Twitter and my website has really brightened my spirits and I am so grateful for the support,” she continued. “I look forward to seeing you all very soon and wish you a happy Thanksgiving.”

She went on to apologize to her business partners for having to miss a series of appearances, but added, “I’d like to thank you all for the kind words and well wishes over the past few weeks.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Nicole checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA on November 18.
