LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Cougars rejoice! “Twilight Saga” star Taylor Lautner turns 18 later this week on Friday, February 12 – but Hollywood hottest leading teen star told Access Hollywood that he’s planning to keep his celebration simple now that he’s almost an adult.
Access’ Shaun Robinson caught up with the birthday boy at the “Valentine’s Day” premiere in LA on Monday night.
“What do you have planned for you 18th birthday?” Shaun asked.
“Absolutely nothing really,” Taylor told Access. “I mean, I’ll spend time with family and friends… I don’t like to do anything huge, but it is 18, so, it’s kind of a big one I guess.”
Taylor said he wouldn’t be celebrating his big day with Taylor Swift.
“I believe she’s overseas touring. It’s a bummer she couldn’t make it [to the premiere], but I’m sure everyone will enjoy watching her,” Taylor told Access.
As for “Twilight” news, Taylor explained that he and the rest of the cast are eagerly waiting to find out the details on “Breaking Dawn,” just like all the fans.
“There have been rumors out there but we still haven’t been told yet what’s going on with [‘Breaking Dawn’]… So, we’re waiting just like you are,” he told Shaun.
